Utilplastic was established in Tuscany-Italy in 1969, resulting from the transformation of another company of a similar nature founded 10 years earlier by same family partners.At that time, the first plastic materials were being produced; the Desideri family devoted its activity to the tranformation of these new materials, mainly catering for sector of semi-processed articles.Production was initially limited to brooms and a few other household clearing items; later, a wider range of articles such as buckets, basins, articles for kitchen and the bathroom were included.The current line of products includes dust pan with or without handle, waste paper basket, various type of basins, dish drainers, cutlery drainers and holders, colanders, brooms, window cleaning utensil, dustbins, toilette brush sets, buckets, floor washing utensil, brushes, plant-pot trays and garden pots.Utilplastic exports approximately 70 % of its production mainly to EU countries, some Middle and Far East contries, Persian Gulf and Mediterranean Basin, a few Central and Southern African countries, Central American and Caribbean countries, South America and North America. Production is carried out in a factory extending over an area of approximately 10,000 sqm, of wich 4,000 are covered.Utilplastic relies on the most advanced production equipment that includes computerized process control and robotized apparatus.
